"We are thrilled to have Tennis Channel featuring live coverage of the 2019 RBC Pro Challenge," said Israel Castillo, Tournament Director. This also gives the viewers in the U.S. a chance to watch some of the absolute best young players in the world compete for valuable ranking points and potentially an Australian Open Wild Card.”
The 2018 RBC Pro Challenge featured an incredibly strong field, with multiple players making their mark on the WTA Tour. Semifinalist Belinda Bencic has ascended to the world’s top 10, enjoying the best season of her career. Kristie Ahn, 2017 RBC Pro Challenge Champion, reached the Round of 16 at the 2019 U.S. Open.
